Pepsi - the new campaign review
Pepsi usually adopts a global outlook when communicating with our market. however, a new local approach was adopted for the New #Meshghalat campaign focusing more on Lebanese insights.
The brand was communicating with the young crowd under the "Live for Now" slogan that is meant to encourage the brand lovers to focus on the NOW with all what it holds of real experiences and fun, and forget about the past that is gone, and the future that will come in time.
The new campaign communicates under "Live for Now" with #Meshghalat, a common word that the young Lebanese say when they finally agree to something.
Check out the different situations communicated:
1- Soura bil Jiyyeh, Check-in: Hawaii! #meshghalat.
Changing your location to somewhere more exotic just for the likes!
2- Ra7 yawmen 3al yaban, riji3 ninja! #meshgahlat.
Just like when someone goes to Paris for a week and comes back with the Ghrrrr.
3- Shbine bi 20 3eres, w ba3edni 3azba #meshghalat.
Its not that bad to be the good luck charm; you get more chances of meeting your soul mate in one of the weddings!
4- dayya3 kalbo, le2a 7alo #meshghalat.
sometimes a small situation could lead to bigger and better places, why not go for it?
5- 7emyet siyarto, 2ataf #meshghalat.
whats worse than having car trouble when you have the girl of your dreams in the car next to you, and you're waiting for the perfect time to express your feelings to her? after all she might feel the same towards you. just use the moment and make it happen.
6- D5ouliye bi 50,000LL, Insa! #meshghalat
you don't have to sell a kidney to enjoy the beach! there must be another way.
I've also got the chance to check the TV commercial while zapping which complements the above situations of a typical, restless, Lebanese person.
Cheers :)
